Five couples  competed for the title of Mr. and Ms. JC Bodyshots 2005  last January 21, 2005 at the Romblon Public Plaza, Romblon, Romblon.

Sponsored by the Romblon "Capital" Jaycees, Inc. , the event showcased a male and female youth from the municipality of Romblon as well as from Alcantara and Odiongan.

The contest began  at 7 p.m., with ten contestants who  kicked the show off with their  Greek and Mediterranean performances choreographed by Mrs. Marinelle Pabico before moving into the  categories, which displayed the candidates’ beauty, talent and creativity.

“These couples have been working really hard since the end of December to put on a great show for everyone,” Ms. Rommelyn Diola, the director and the producer of the show,  said.

Each contestant  competed in three fashion categories. First, the sportswear, the swimwear and the casual wear.

“The contestants are getting really creative for the ‘swimwear wear’ portion,” Diola said. “A lot of them were not comfortable wearing swimsuits so they branched out and really brought new meaning to term ‘swim wear.’”

For the “casual wear” category, Romblon "Capital" Jaycees donated 10 casual clothes  for the event.

Honorable Vice Governor Samuel Romero was the Guest Speaker that night.
